Oh look, more corporate bollocks, CGEY urge you to defy the economy, wonder how much they paid some eejit to come up with that gem. its worrying when a consultancy pays a consultancy don't you think?

What's great is that they've been sold a viral marketing line, "I know! we'll exploit the power of the internet to exponentially spread our message", which is always amusing. I'm not sure what a huge corporation expects to achieve? Who buys consultancy, and do they respond to viral emails. I doubt it.

So you may have seen the brand madness that is the name change for PWC Consulting. Witness it at introducingmonday.com. The demerger and name change is apparently costing a mere £75m. Nice work if you can get it, and branding consultants Wolf Olins got it - is this money for old rope? Some big cheese at PWC described the innovative new name 'as a real word, concise, recognisable, global and the right fit for a company that works hard to deliver results'. I'll think you'll find that's management bollocks for we paid through the nose for a shit name.

TV and cooking, the more people watch, the less they do it. So reports the economist. The UK loves ready meals, but the Spanish and Italians barely acknowledge their existence. They get to sleep in the afternoon as well, don't they? Must be a way to introduce that into the UK...
